electricar, the magazine for tomorrow's mobility, in cooperation with the Institute for New Mobility, honors the best e-models in all categories.
BEST IN CLASS 2026 is the award for electric cars. From small cars to luxury models, outstanding electric vehicles are honored. The winners are selected by a jury of renowned experts. They select and evaluate all electric cars offered in Germany based on their specifications. Efficiency and sustainability are just as important as performance, comfort, and quality.

The winners of
BEST-IN-CLASS
Last year, ten models were nominated based on hard facts in each of seven categories (small cars to luxury cars, SUVs, and light vehicles). Companies were also able to submit their own entries in five additional categories (design, city car, family car, fleet vehicle, and pioneers of the mobility transition).
The winners of the individual categories were officially chosen in front of the audience and industry representatives at the e4 Testival at the Hockenheimring on October 26, 2024, and were awarded the BEST IN CLASS Award 2025.
